# Embryology
Different important steps in embryology:
1. Fertilization: The joining of a sperm and an egg to create a single cell called a zygote.
2. Cleavage: The rapid division of the zygote into smaller cells within the first few days of development.
3. Gastrulation: The process of forming three germ layers (ectoderm, mesoderm, and endoderm) in the embryo.
4. Organogenesis: The formation of organs from the three germ layers.
5. Neurulation: The development of the nervous system from the ectoderm.
6. Morphogenesis: The development of the external shape of the embryo.
7. Fetal Stage: The period of development in the uterus before birth.
