# Phenotype

Richard Dawkins defines phenotype as the physical and behavioral characteristics of an organism that are determined by both its genetic makeup and the environment it is exposed to. Phenotypes can be seen through an organism's physical features, such as body shape and size, and the behaviors it exhibits. Additionally, phenotypes can also be seen through the effects of variation in genetic makeup, such as the ability to respond to certain environmental stimuli, or the expression of certain traits. Phenotypes are always changing and evolving, making them an important factor in the study of evolution.
It's like a person's outfit. What an individual wears is determined by both their style and the environment they are in. Their outfit can be seen through the clothing they wear and the way they choose to accessorize. Additionally, what they wear is also determined by their body type and their personal preferences, such as the colors they choose or the materials they prefer. Outfits are always changing and evolving, making them an important factor in fashion.
