Sometimes while I am travelling and see the inefficiency of systems or lack of logic in some business processes and wonder why, what was the priors in the owner(s) brain that lead to this? For example entering a coffeeshop in Thailand and there is no WiFi, why? WiFi is quite affordable here, even for the average Thai. My guess is that unlike in my culture, people don't actually work with laptops from there. In general I find it interesting to see how people run their business, even in third world countries where they probably make less than $100 a day in revenue (with low margin) Or seeing people sit 16 hours a day selling strawberries at $1 a pack. Just thing, with just 1 hour of education on how to use a computer you could teach them to do some money on the side while selling their strawberries using a laptop. Even in rich countries I've seen people struggling to make money while there are so many ways to make money in very little time nowadays on the internet -> [[032724 10376 startup idea leveraging average human intelligence]] #business #financial-freedom
