#computing # Artificial General Intelligence is already under our sight In human society we identify human beings by different ways, name, ID card were long used, now, with technology we will tend to switch to more precise identification such as face and better, DNA. In artificial society, i.e. computers, we started off with MAC addresses, then, as the circle of communication grows, you need a better way that scale, i.e. you can't say to Bob to remember all the names in his circles to talk with another computer such as Alice. That's where IP addresses came in the game, this is just another way to identify a machine on another scale. Now we can identify a network of individuals, a [[Society of Minds]] or I would even go further and call it for what it is, an Artificial General Intelligence such as Google, Amazon, Facebook, Microsoft. In the end it's just different ways to identify an organic or artificial individual which depend on the given context and usage.
