You can understand different parts of the tree. If you want to act upon a specific part of the tree, you need to understand it either from the root to the leaves or start from the leaves and reach the root. >The root vs. the branches. - What we are after is the ROOT and not the branches. The root is the real knowledge; the branches are surface knowledge.
