## pitch
Hello everyone,
I'm Louis, Techstars 22 alumni, Buildspace sf1 and OrangeDAO fellow, Leukemia survivor at 14.
I'm here to present Mediar, an open-source AI health assistant.
Every day, we're flooded with health advice from people like Huberman, or data from our devices like Ouraring, Whoop, Apple Watch, and we're drowning in it.
In addition, many advices are too general, health is a single player game.
It's too complex. We try to track our nutrition, sleep, workout, mental wellbeing, it's too much effort.
Today, I'm bringing to you Mediar.
Mediar provides daily insights about your health, based on what you do, eat, drink, feel and wearable data directly in WhatsApp.
Mediar follows a few principles:
- **Privacy by Design** - User data privacy and security is a core principle. We use privacy-preserving techniques like data anonymization and encryption to protect sensitive information.
- **Software 3.0 Native** - Mediar interfaces are optimized for natural human interaction through conversational language and voice.
- **Empathetic** - Mediar is designed to understand users' emotions, perspectives, and needs in order to provide supportive and compassionate assistance. We aim to build AI that can sense, interpret, and respond to human feelings.
- **Radical Transparency** - Mediar is Open Source and strives to be transparent about how the AI works, what data it uses, and how it benefits the user. We believe users should understand how the technology impacts them.
Our business model is subscription-based, ensuring recurring income.
Mediar is a personal health companion that understands your health needs, respects your privacy, and helps you build healthier habits.
