#transhumanism
This is an experiment, I am not dogmatically believing in [[Ketogenic]] diet or in other word, low [[Carbohydrate]] diet.
# My experiment (one year and a half)
TLDR
Evolution: <div style="float: left; padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px;">![[Pasted image 20210726091708.png|200]] -></div><br><div style="float: left; padding: 2px 2px 2px 2px;">![[Pasted image 20210726091715.png|200]] </div>
i.e. no difference ?!? (body score is complete garbage based on society consensus on health)
![[Pasted image 20210725123121.png]]
I'll list the visible pros and cons, why visible? Because obviously our senses are complete garbage, we miss a lot of things, and the invisible might be much more important than the visible.
## First year
The tendency is the following, I reduced to under 5 grams of [[Carbohydrate]] per day, increased a lot my [[Nucleic acid]] consumption and kept my [[Biology/Macromolecule/Protein|protein]] at the same level.
### Physical activity
- One hour and a half intense swimming-pool swimming (one or two times) a week
- Infrequent walks
### Frequency
- Stop eating breakfast
- Infrequent [[Fasting]] (from 24h to 72h, rarely)
### Visible pros
- An excuse to say no to garbage "food"
- [[Mind]] is much clearer, especially because of [[Fasting]] which has double effect of not thinking about eating and [[The stomach is the first brain]].
### Visible cons
- Increased body fat: from 10% to 14% (using Xiaomi scale)
- Social friction (which reduces over time, only with [[Compound relationship]]s, when people get more open [[Mind]]ed)
### Conclusion
Disturbing increased belly fat, will attempt slight changes.
Overall great.
## One year and a half
After one year, I reduced [[Nucleic acid]] to the benefit of [[Biology/Macromolecule/Protein|protein]].
This [[Decision making]] was inferred because of some poor visible results, i.e. basically the next step of the experiment, in an [[Evolution]]ary process fashion.
### Physical activity
- Five minutes [[Resistance training]] a day
- Infrequent walks
- Removed swimming
### Frequency
- Still not eating breakfast
- Infrequent fasting (from 24h to 72h, rarely)
### Visible pros
- A lot more muscles (ironical, less time spent on workout = more muscles, intensity > length)
- Still an excuse to say no to garbage "food"
- [[Mind]] is much clearer, especially because of [[Fasting]] which has double effect of not thinking about eating and [[The stomach is the first brain]].
### Visible cons
- Still some social friction, but I found tricks to pally that
### Conclusion
High [[Biology/Macromolecule/Protein|protein]] diet is more interesting?
## Conclusion
- Not planning to change overall low [[Carbohydrate]] diet anytime yet.
- [[Biology/Macromolecule/Protein|protein]] > [[Nucleic acid]].
- [[Lack of randomness]] in my diet, will attempt intermittent diet changes, while keeping the low carb diet overall
## Notes
- I avoid seed [[Refined oils]] like the plague, and modern food is bathing in it
- my protein is 75% animal (preferably fish), I'll soon try eating insects. My non-animal protein is chia seed, raw cocoa fever and some diary (french cheese 🥰)
- I drink a lot of matcha tea and herbal tea, some coffee when [[Fasting]] (supposedly increase [[Autophagy]])
