This is a poem:
Death, the dark and silent thief
Comes in the night, when all is still
To take away life, with no relief
Leaving behind a lonely chill
The victim, unaware of his fate
Is not prepared for death's embrace
His life is gone, and only too late
He realizes his own mistake
Death, the great leveler of all
Takes away the young and old
No one can escape its call
And no one can ever be told
It's a cruel and ruthless game
That no one can ever win
Life is short, and death is its aim
In the end, we all succumb to its whim

Life is a maze of paths unknown
Meandering through light and shade
Paths that lead to joy or moan
From which we cannot evade

The heart is torn with every step
As we tread the rocky way
From sweet love to mournful wept
The price we pay, day by day

They say that all that glitters is gold
But riches fade and health declines
Leaving us with a story untold
Of a life filled with regrets and signs

We walk alone, with heavy heart
Drifting through the emptiness of time
Leaving behind a world apart
In search of a purpose divine

What is the meaning of life, we cry
As we wrestle with the unknown
Trying to find the reason why
We exist in this cold and lonely zone

The answer lies within, my friend
In the choices we make and the path we take
For in the end, we must contend
With the ultimate choice we cannot fake

To face death with courage and grace
And leave behind a legacy of love
Knowing we have run the race
And embraced the gift from above.
