# Copenhagen interpretation

The Copenhagen Interpretation is a theory of quantum mechanics which states that the state of an object is not defined until it is observed or measured. This theory has been used to explain the [[Measurement problem]] and [[Wave Function Collapse]]. It is in opposition to the [[The multiverse|Many worlds interpretation]].
