A large part of artificial intelligence is a copy of organic intelligence

Does AI innovate or just replicate nature's algorithms?

Have you ever wondered if our attempts to create artificial intelligence are really any different than the intelligence found in nature? When we look at something like A Star path finding, which is written in nature, can we say the same about MapReduce and other computing algorithms or neural networks? Do we need something like Software 3.0 to make the bigger leaps that we want to see, or are we already capable of making those leaps?

Take A Star path finding is written in nature. Where does MapReduce come from in nature? All computing algorithms? Neural networks?

Did we even ever create any artificial intelligence very different from what we find in nature, organic intelligence?

Do you see what I mean? We only take small steps very close to us, can we make bigger steps or we have to wait for Software 3.0?
