Clouds and men

Human helplessness before invisible forces; legacy

Clouds and men, we go where fate decrees, Blown by forces we cannot see. We joke about the frailty of clouds, But our winds are much stronger and more fearsome. We may seem in control, but in reality We are powerless against the invisible forces that drive us.

Still, we keep moving forward, Our Cloud-selves and our Human-selves, buffeted by the winds of destiny. Man is a slave, A cog in the great machine, But in our brief time here We can estrange ourselves from the herd, And laugh at the weakness of the clouds.

Our time is short, but in the end We’ll all be blown away Into the great unknown, Leaving behind only our memory To be carried on the wind.

Our days may be numbered, But our legacy will last Though we may never meet again Our stories will remain in the past.

Our lives may be fleeting, But our impact will be immense We’ll leave behind a mark That will never be forgotten.

Our time may be short, But the memories we made will last For in the end, we’ll all be blown away Into the great unknown, leaving behind only our legacy.
